Paolo Conte — an Italian singer, author, composer, pianist and conductor — draws his inspiration from both the romances of his country and the claimed influences of blues and jazz.
After making a specialty of successful refrains for others in the sixties (Adriano Celentano – “Azzuro”), Paolo Conte began a career in his own right during the nineteen seventies, during which his nonchalant elegance (“Via Con Me”) all of Europe.
“SNOB” — his latest album — was released at the end of 2014 with 15 new songs including both Latin music and jazz. This new record is just as rich, catchy and exciting as his previous albums have invariably been.
