ISABELLE ADJANI

Les Murmures de l’âme

Isabelle Adjani is one of France’s most celebrated actresses, internationally recognized for the intensity and depth of her performances. Born in Paris to an Algerian father and a German mother, she began acting early and, at just 17, joined the Comédie-Française, becoming the youngest actress ever admitted to the institution.

She is the only French actress to have won five César Awards for Best Actress, for her roles in Possession, One Deadly Summer, Camille Claudel, Queen Margot, and Skirt Day. She also received two Academy Award nominations for The Story of Adèle H. and Camille Claudel, and won two awards at the Cannes Film Festival.

She is on tour with the staged reading Les Murmures de l’âme, bringing her distinctive voice and presence to this new live performance.
